DESCRIPTION:The Denton Area Marine Corps League LCpl Jacob R. Lugo Detachment 1300 is a community service organization made up of former and active Marines\, former and active Navy Corpsmen who served with the fleet Marine force.  Known mostly for our work to organize and manage the annual Toys For Tots Campaign and the Marine Corps Birthday Ball the league also provides support for local Marine veterans\, participates in local area parades and ceremonial activities\, funds scholarships for Marine families\, and many other efforts that are consistent with the tradition and history of the United States Marine Corps.
